Prototype Rucksack

I've got too many bags! Here's a backpack I made a while back in lightweight fashion. The main front panel is made of one large piece of ripstop nylon (the stuff tents are made of) and has no holes sewn into the front of it. To increase water resistance, its only sewn on the edges. The rest of the bag is made of coated Cordura, except for a clear vinyl pocket up top. Remove the padded back piece to pack it down small. Flip this thing inside out to use it as a stuff sack. This backpack is tailored to large torsos (19-20)". Also, you can check out the updated version on the custom work page. This is a prototype, so there's only one!

Features:

  • 30L main compartment volume
  • Integrated draw cord and compression system
  • Two cord locks
  • Expanding front Cordura pocket with stretch closure
  • Clear vinyl top pocket with covered zipper
  • Internal sleeve fits 100 oz. water bladder or 15" laptop
  • Padded back panel
  • Padded shoulder straps with daisy chain
  • Removable chest strap
  • Tailored to torso length (19-20) inches
