Introducing the Hummingbird: A New Bike from Our Friends at Neuhaus

“Being a small, local company allows you to do cool things. Selfishly, I learned to design and build bikes to makes bikes for myself. But, as your average mid-pack rider who grew up riding natural trails in SoCal, turns out the Hummingbird is a great match for how most people ride. I hope it's the kind of bike that you always keep around. Trends come and go, but hardtails are forever!” - Daniel Yang of Neuhaus
The Hummingbird is just a simple, easy to ride hardtail. Throw some fast tires on and join some gravel rides in the headlands. Put some meaty 2.6 tires for backcountry adventures in the Sierras. For this setup, we outfitted the Hummingbird with our Seatpack, Half Frame Bag, Top Tube Bag, Stem Caddy and Drawcord Handlebar Bag, for a versatile setup that offers plenty of capacity and organization.
The beauty of the hardtail is its simplicity. Few moving parts, reliable, and easy to ride, easy to understand. However, simple designs are the hardest to achieve. We have the luxury to build and ride whatever geometry we want: steeper, longer, taller, shorter, slacker, etc… Despite this, we keep coming back to our Hummingbirds.
