Shipping and Payment

Shipping

Orders are packed and shipped within 3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. Transit time is measured in business days which are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is processed. If you are in a hurry, please contact us and we may be able to expedite the processing time.

We offer the following domestic shipping services:

  • USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

  • USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

  • USPS Priority Mail Express (1-2 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

  • UPS Ground (1-6 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

  • UPS 2nd Day Air (1-2 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

International Orders

We ship to most countries and offer the following international shipping services:

  • Canada and Japan only. USPS First Class Mail International (11-20 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

  • UPS Worldwide Expedited (2-5 business days) - Processing may take up to 3 additional business days before your order ships.

Please begin the checkout process to view shipping costs. Unfortunately we are not offering USPS First Class Mail for other countries besides Canada and Japan because it has become very unreliable over the past two years.

Duties, taxes and other fees are determined by the customs agency at the destination and are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable. If the recipient fails to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be abandoned and Outer Shell will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees. Let us know if you would like to include any special instructions for shipping to your country.

All prices are in US dollars. Your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate at the time of shipment.

Insurance

Insurance is not included with USPS First Class Mail International packages, and Outer Shell is not responsible for any lost packages shipped using this service. All other shipping services are insured so please upgrade your shipping service to include insurance.

Payment

We accept PayPal, Apple Pay and all major credit cards directly through our website. Outer Shell will only charge for products purchased and shipped. For your protection, we require that the billing telephone number and the billing address match the address that is on file with the credit card issuing bank.

Returns

Return Policy

If you are unsatisfied with a product purchased directly from Outer Shell at the time you receive it, you may return it, unused, for a refund of your purchase price (including shipping), as long as you ship it out within 15 days.

Items returned outside of this time frame must be approved first by contacting us. It must still be unused and will also incur a 20% restocking fee.

Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs.

As soon as we receive the return, a refund will be credited to your original form of payment and you will receive a notification email.

Exchanges

Exchanges are not accepted. Please return your item and place a new order instead.

Warranty and Repairs

Lifetime Warranty

Any item that suffers from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials may be returned for repair or replacement as needed, free of charge. We just ask that you cover the costs to get it to us and we’ll take care of the rest.

Outer Shell will determine whether or not your product is covered by this warranty. Damage due to wear and tear, accident, improper use, or the natural breakdown of materials over time is not covered. If you would like us to assess warranty coverage, please send photos and a description to:

Repairs

Non-warranty repairs are gladly accepted and priced accordingly. We prefer to fix things rather than have it end up in the trash! To inquire about non-warranty repairs, please send photos and a description to:
