  • Orders ship business days (Monday-Friday) within 72 hours. A tracking number will be provided as soon as it’s processed. Note that we do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays so depending on volume, orders placed on Friday may not ship until the following week. All orders are shipped from our shop in San Francisco, CA.

    We offer the following domestic shipping services that have various transit times as listed below:

    • USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days after shipping)

    • USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business days after shipping)

    • USPS Priority Mail Express (1-2 business days after shipping)

    • UPS Ground (1-6 business days after shipping)

    • UPS 2nd Day Air (1-2 business days after shipping)

    For international, we offer the following services:

    • For Canada and Japan only. USPS First Class Mail International (11-20 business days after shipping)

    • UPS Worldwide Expedited (2-5 business days after shipping)

  • Please contact us to expedite your processing time. We may be able to bump your order up in the queue. Note that we only ship on business days (Monday-Friday) and shipments go out everyday at 3pm PST.

    For faster transit times, you will need to upgrade your shipping service. USPS Priority Mail Express and UPS 2nd Day Air arrive 1-2 business days after shipping.

  • Shipping to the US is free for orders over $100. For all other orders, please begin the checkout process to get a quote. It will depend on the weight of your order, where you live, and what service you select. We do not charge any extra fees for processing.

  • All shipments come with $100 insurance. Please contact us if you have any issues with your package.

  • It’s actually easier for us to ship your order, just because we don’t have retail employees at our shop to run regular public hours. If you’re in a hurry, we may be able to make an appointment with you. Please contact us for availability.

  • Yes, all the time! We offer USPS First Class Mail for Canada and Japan only and UPS Worldwide Expedited for most countries. You are responsible for any customs fees imposed by your country.

RETURN POLICY

Don’t love what you ordered? No problem! We accept returns on unused items postmarked within 30 days of when you received it.

We just ask that you handle getting it back to us. That means packaging it up, and paying to mail it back. As long as it looks new, we’ll issue a full refund - including the original shipping cost.

It’s okay to try on the bag but make sure your bike isn’t super dirty because it can leave stains, making it ineligible for return.

After we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for processing. You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as the refund is issued.

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are not accepted. Sometimes the size/color you want is sold out or will sell out while we’re waiting for the exchange, so it’s better to return the item. Then you can place a new order at any point.




 

QUALITY GAURANTEED

Real people make our products so sometimes there can be small manufacturing errors. Not to worry, all Outer Shell products come with a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. If you find some loose stitches or a blemish in the fabric, we’ll repair or replace it for free - even years later!

Damage due to wear and tear, accident, improper use, or the natural breakdown of materials over time is not covered, BUT..

WE’LL STILL FIX IT

Sometimes we crash and break a buckle. Sometimes zippers get gummed up with dirt. Sometimes we just put our gear through the ringer and it wears out. Nothing lasts forever, but we can replace buckles. We can repair zippers. We can patch holes. We can breathe new life into your well loved Outer Shell gear and keep it out of the landfill. Non-warranty repairs are gladly accepted. We will assess the damage and send you a price based on parts, labor, and shipping costs.
